Remove Pet Urine Odors

Some times our pets have accidents in the house. It is our job to remove pet urine odors.

It happens with the best trained pets, so all you can do is clean it up.

Dilute vinegar with water 50/50. It will take pet odors out of carpets. Soak the stain.

Let it soak, and then blot up all the liquid with a clean white towel. Do not rub or scrub the stain. Odors and stains from pet poo or urine are protein based.

To get rid of the odor you need will need a cleaner that contains bacterial enzymes.

Enzyme Cleaners

Enzyme cleaners can be purchased at pet stores or health food stores. Odor enzymes can be added to the laundry to remove smells from bedding.

Baking soda is also good for odors. Just sprinkle on the carpet and then vacuum up. An electronic air-cleaner is also good at removing pet odors. Many cleaning products contain ammonia. It is not what you should use to clean pet stains, because it smells like urine to dogs.

This will lure the dog back to the same area, and he will pee in the same spot again.
