Cleaning Carpet Stain

When cleaning carpet stain you do not want the carpet to restain. If any of the cleaning solution remains in the carpet it can act as a magnet for dirt.

When I am cleaning carpets, I often see treated areas that are dirtier than the rest of the carpet. With stain removal on carpet, you must flush all of the cleaner from the carpet with clean water before you dry it.

Do not soak the carpet or over wet it. Just use enough cean water to get the detergent out. When finished, blott dry with paper towels. It is worth the extra time and effort, so that it does not re-stain.

Mud

Sprinkle baking soda on wet mud and allow to dry.When it is dry vacuum up. Blott with a damp napkin, and then dry with paper towels.

Carpets should be professionally cleaned about once a year. Regular cleaning will extend the life of your carpet.Dirt in the fibers causes wear and tare.
