Do not use while the carpet is still wet, because it will get stuck in the carpet fibers and it will be difficult to get out. Sprinkle on the stain after the carpet has dried, and leave overnight.

Baking powder is very good because it soaks up the odor. Many cleaners only mask the smell and do not remove it. The next morning vacuum thoroughly and you will have no more odor.
