Carpet Stains Removal

Carpet stains removal is easier if you clean spills immediately. When a stain dries it will be more difficult to remove. Sugary drinks and pet urine are among the most difficult. If you ever had a soda or gatorade spill on the carpet, you know what I mean. A stain that is not properly cleaned can come back. Sometimes the cleaning products used to remove stains from carpet can leave a residue in the fibers that attracts dirt.

After cleaning it is a good idea to rinse the area with clean water. This will help to remove the cleaning detergents. Blott up as much moisture as possible, because it can cause a water stain on the carpet.

Use an old towel or paper towels to soak up the moisture. Soak up as much moisture as you can, and then place a dry towel on the area, and place a phone book or a brick on it. Leave it overnight and vacuum the next day to fluff up the fibers.

Carpet Care Tip

Some people use bleach for carpet cleaning stains. But the problem is that it also removes the color. But you can save the carpet with this carpet removal stain tip.

Mix food coloring with water to make the matching color. It will fade over time, so you will have to apply it again and again. Hopefully no one will notice if you match it well. This is a good reason to be very careful when cleaning stains yourself.
