Berber Carpet Tiles

Berber carpet tiles are great for your do-it-yourself carpet installation projects. Carpet tile squares can be placed over any flat surface such as plywood, tile, or cement. They are an easy way to make a basement much more comfortable.

They come in several colors and textures. Flor carpet tile is not glued down, so you can take them up and move them to a different room if you want. They have rubber pads that keep them securely in place.

If you get a difficult stain, spill or pet accident, you do not need to worry about how to clean it. All you have to do is pick up a tile and put a new one in its place.

However regular maintenance will keep the carpet looking good. Vacuum as you would with regular carpet. Berber tiles are made up of loop carpeting.

Loop pile often has a thick yarn, such as wool or olefin. They are also comfortable to walk on.

From my experience carpet tiles look good in a basement, but not in any other rooms. They tend to look like the carpeting you probably have in your office.

The great thing sbout using then in the basement is that you can easily take them up, if the basement gets wet. You can dry them out and use them again.

You do not need a carpet pad. Just lay them directly on the floor that you want to cover. It is easy to do.

The tiles can also be cut to measure exactly, which gives a professional look. They usually come in 12x12 which makes them easy to work with.
